Il gruppo Silent Street nasce dall'incontro tra il chitarrista/cantautore Marco Cavaglieri (chitarra acustica, elettrica, voce) e il chitarrista/pianista Andrea Turrini (chitarra elettrica, acustica, piano, voce e cori) che dopo aver militato in varie bands decidono a fine 2006 di fondere la passione condivisa per il brit-Pop, per il classic rock e il country rock nel progetto della"Strada Silenziosa".

Essendo il duo Cavaglieri/Turrini il nucleo del progetto, nella band si sono alternati nel tempo molti musicisti fino ad arrivare alla line-up attuale, con al basso Emanuele Pizzini e alla batteria Stefano Sedassari.

Silent Street is a music project formed by MarcoC. in late 2006.
He wanted to gather together friends and musicians who could support him playing the greypop songs he had in his mind. After some years this has been possible with the talented piano/guitar man Andrea "Johnny Love" Turrini (Mind Riot), the mysterious bassist Emanuele (Bottleneck), the freaky drummer Matteo (Plan de fuga, Gianmarco Martelloni) and the six-string master Andrea (Artdisorder, les:petits:enfants/terriblez).

Currently the band's line-up features Marco, Andrea and Emanuele, and the new entry drummer Stefano Sedassari.
